About Radiant Kids

We teach a kid-friendly approach to the gospel.

At Radiant, we believe kids aren’t just the future of the church—they are the church today. Our heart is to plant God’s Truth in the youngest members of His family so they can flourish as they grow into the men and women God is calling them to be.

We also believe discipleship begins at home. That’s why we come alongside parents—equipping and encouraging them as they model and teach God’s Word to their families.

What to expect on Sundays…

Babies & Toddlers

Babies and Toddlers can expect a safe and loving environment to play and learn about the love of Jesus. Toddlers learn through play, a basic Bible story and worship with sweet songs!

Preschool - Older Kids

Children are placed in age-based classes, then join for worship and a main lesson. They learn through games, Bible teaching, memorization, and discussion. Each week kids will receive resources to continue at home with their families.

Nursery (0–2 yrs)

Family Worship

Radiant welcomes children of all ages to participate in the main Sunday service! We provide coloring pages and worksheets that correspond to the sermon. We are family friendly and love seeing families sitting together!

Parents with Littles

Nursing Mothers Room - Our nursery doubles as a nursing mothers room with refreshments and streamed service! (Ladies only)

Family Room - At the back of the sanctuary we have a small family room for parents with antsy toddlers!

Meet our RadKids Director Savannah Bates

Savannah Bates leads our RadKids ministry at Radiant Church and has such a heart for serving and loving kids well. She and her husband Ryan have been part of the Radiant family since 2013 and are raising their five kids in Washougal. Savannah loves creating a fun, safe place for kids to learn about Jesus, and she can’t wait to meet you and your family!
