Grounded on God’s Word, we grow together in the gospel, joyfully glorifying Jesus and shining his light—within the church and to the world—so that every person would know, love, and follow Jesus.
Vision
Pastor Ryan
& Savannah Bates
Ryan and Savannah have been part of the Radiant family since September 2013. Ryan first served as Youth Pastor (2013–2019), then as Worship Pastor (2013–2021), and later as Associate Pastor until March 2023, when he was set in as Lead Pastor of Radiant Church.
Ryan is passionate about helping believers grow deeper in their walk with Jesus and in meaningful community with others. He’s currently developing exciting discipleship initiatives and continues to serve on the worship team and in many areas across the church.
He and Savannah live in Washougal, WA, where they’re raising their five beautiful children. Together, Ryan and Savannah serve in a variety of ministries, leading with faith, humility, and a heart for people.
Savannah directs Radiant’s Kids Ministry, where her deep love for Jesus and passion for children shine through. In addition to her work at the church, she homeschools their five children and is committed to nurturing their hearts and minds at home.

Strategy
Four ways we accomplish our mission
We are centered on the life-changing power of the Gospel, rooted in biblical truth, committed to authentic community, and devoted to serving others so that Jesus is glorified in all we do.
1. Gather
We are centered on the life-changing power of the Gospel, rooted in biblical truth, committed to authentic community, and devoted to serving others so that Jesus is glorified in all we do.
2. Belong
Participate in community groups and discipleship. Join a group and a team; be recognized and valued. (Acts 2:46). “Join a group and a serve team—be known and needed.”
3. Grow
Serve the church and give generously. Practice the way of Jesus in the Word, prayer, and obedience. (Eph 4:15). Serve by using your gifts. (1 Pet 4:10). Take a step—Bible, prayer, next class, mentoring.
3. Multiply
Step into leadership. Share Jesus and bless our city and world. (Matt 28:19-20). Share the gospel and live on mission in your community.
